I don’t like to do things halfway,
A story, a poem, or a painting.
It will get finished,
Eventually.
I hate to do things partway,
The cleaning, the sweeping, and the chores.
They all get completed,
Eventually.
Things shouldn’t be left in complete
A plan, a romance, a lifelong dream
It all comes to a close,
Eventually.
